Not nearly as much as yesterday. It will be a little warmer today and over the weekend. Next week is showing signs of being cooler again. San francisco has some fog. We have a nice twitter picture of we built this city. But there is some breaks off in the distance and it will burn off. We will go 67 today in the city which is right about where you should be. Some patchy fog but again mainly favoring south and there is not nearly as much as yesterday that is for sure. 43 napa airport. 43. 47 santa rosa. A little bit of a breeze but i expect that to tail off today and not hold a candle to what we had yesterday and the day before. Sunny and warmer after some of that patchy fog. The breeze almost pick up. 60s and 70s and back into 80s for a few but mainly low 80s. We are still looking at a commute that is getting a little bit more crowded but slowly just the way we like it. This drive time has been the same since we went on the air this morning at 4 30. There are more people on it but still plenty of room for you on interstate 80 from the carquinez bridge to the mccarthur maze. If you get on somewhere near richmond it could take you less time. Once you get there, there is waiting involve. This is about a 25 minute drive time, maybe a little less than that getting into San Francisco. Although there are no crashes to report along the way. As we look at some of the other east bay commutes, westbound 24 still looks pretty good between walnut creek and the tunnel. And there are no major problems here. As a matter of fact, your drive time is only eight minutes from Pleasant Hill road to the caldecott. Lets go back to the desk. Thank you, sal. New this morning the investigation is under way into a deadly fire near hayward. It was first reported about three hours ago at a Mobile Home Park on Fuchsia Court not far from mission boulevard. There are still a number of questions surrounding the tragedy. Alex savidge just spoke to a firefighter at the scene. Alex, what did he tell you . Reporter good morning to you. He told me this mobile home fills up with flames and smoke very quickly this morning. And the person who was inside couldnt make it out in time. And they were found dead inside. Firefighters say its unclear whether they were working smoke detectors inside the home. That is something that is being investigated right now. The victim was found fairly close to the front door when the first firefighters came here and they kicked down the front door they found the victims body just about ten feet inside the place. The fire first started at 3 00 this morning here at the Fuchsia Court Mobile Home Park which is in an unincorporated area of Alameda County called cherry land. Right now they came in and blocked the area off with crime scene to preserve any evidence here. Neighbors say they smelled the smoke, they called 911 when this fire started taking off. The apartment manager tried to help the person inside even used a garden hose in this case but the fire was just too big. Battalion chief i talked to a short time ago says mobile homes like this one tend to burn quickly. In mobile homes fires move very rapidly. Its impairtive to get on scene very quickly. Reporter the victim in this fire has not yet been identified but the Sheriffs Office says they are trying to locate the homeowner. Neighbors tell me the homeowner in this case is a man who has lived here in this particular mobile home at this complex for several years. Investigators are out here they have been gathering evidence for the past couple of hours and they are still trying to figure out exactly how this deadly fire started. Officers are looking for three young men who gang raped a 13 yearold girl. The teenager told police she was walking along corral road near interstate 880 on friday morning when a car pulled up next to her. There were several strangers in the car and at gunpoint they directed her to get into the car. Once she was in the car, she had been sexually assaulted. The gang says that the the girl says the men drove her around and dropped her off a few blocks away from childrens hospital. They described as African American men the first about 61 w a medium build and medium complex. Andth second one 2025 years old 65, thin, with a one to two inch scar on the left side of his his chin. The third is described as African American 1719 years old 62, dark complex and thin build. The car is a burgundy fourdoor sedan with a light color interior. If you have any information about this case you are urged to call oakland police. Police in west oakland searching for the vandals that smashed the windows of a coffee shop. Yesterday the bart board settled on a plan for the first cars of its fleet of the future to be ordered for delivery next summer. They will billion tested until they will be tested until late 2016. Army Sergeant Bowe bergdahl returns to a political controversy after nearly five years in captivity. The 28yearold touched down in texas early friday and was taken to the san antonio military medical center. Bergdahl went missing in june of 2009 while serving in afghanistan. The longest held american soldier since the vietnam war. A military source tells cnn an investigation determined that bergdahl deliberately left his base. But the army has no finding that bergdahl desserted because they dont yet know his intent. Republicans accused the white house of over stepping its authority by not consulting congress. We could have done a better job of keeping you informed. I know that trust has been broken. Reporter other critics said releasing five terrorists a bad enough. Negotiating with terrorists is not something we have violated. Reporter bergdahls health was deteriorating and they acted quickly to save his life. Westbound bay bridge backed up for a 25 minute delay getting into San Francisco. New this morning an investigation is happening right now into a deadly fire near hayward. Heres the scene. This is first reported about 3 00 this morning at a Mobile Home Park near mission boulevard and there are still a lot of Unanswered Questions in this investigation. Investigators right now are trying to figure out why this person was unable to escape this Early Morning fire. What they dont know is whether this mobile home had working smoke detectors. They are still trying to figure that out. The victim was found about ten feet from the front door. Pretty close inside the front door when firefighters got here. They found the victims body inside the place. It started around 3 00 this morning at the Fuchsia Court Mobile Home Park which is in an unincorporated part of mobile county. After discoverings the body, firefighters knocked down the flames and they were also able to keep that huge fire from spreading to any of the neighboring mobile homes. People that live close by they smelled smoke and called 911. They saw huge flames here in the complex. The manager says he went over and tried to help the person who was inside but he says this fire was just too large. By the time i got to the door, the house was already completely full of smoke and there was fire in the hallway. So there was no way to get back and forth. Reporter the Sheriffs Office says they are trying to locate the homeowner. The homeowner is a man in his 50s. Who has lived here for several years. Happening today in just a couple of hours from right now Johannes Mehserle will go back to the witness stand in San Francisco in the civil rights lawsuit over the 2009 shooting death of oscar grant. The former bart Police Officer is being sued by oscar grants father who wants unspecified damages claiming mehserle intentionally killed his son. Fremont police are asking people to keep an eye out for a missing woman who has not been seen since yesterday. Heres a picture of 65yearold satal core. She was last seen ennuying get way at 3 30. Described as indian about 53 with gray hair and black eyes. She was wearing a brown head scarf and traditional gray indian dress. Police say she has not gone missing before and is considered at risk because of her age. Meanwhile the case of a missing north bay man has his family worried and Petaluma Police frustrated. Rory martinez parked his car near the fairgrounds more than a week ago and disappeared. He left his cell phone, car keys and wallet with his id and cash inside the unlocked car. She says there was no sign he was planning to leave. If he had something intentional in mind that he would have hugged all of us. I mean, you know, this little girl right here he adores her. If we can be pointed in a direction or had some type of lead were at this point we would investigate that until its exhausted and we just dont have that. Investigators say martinez may be disoriented. Martinez suffers from depression but his wife says hes been stable taking medication and going to therapy. Developing news about that crisis in iraq this morning in just the past hour secretary of state john kerry announced he expects timely decisions from president obama on iraq because the situation is so dangerous. Islamist group linked to al qaeda has taken control of several iraqi cities and it is moving toward baghdad. Hundreds of americans are being evacuated from iraq as a precaution. Now while president obama wont be sending in american troops, he is considering air strikes against the militants. We do have a stake in making sure that these joe haddists are not getting a permanent foothold in iraq or syria. However just a short time ago, iraqi sources said American Military planners are worried air strikes against the militants may not work. And concern over the situation in iraq is driving up crude oil prices. Right now crude oil is selling for more than 106 a barrel. Its also the highest price in almost nine months. Industry analysts say if Iraqi Oil Production stops, even temporarily, the price of crude could jump another 20 a barrel. Those same experiments say that could increase gas prices we pay at the pump by 0. 10 a gallon quickly. The average price in San Francisco is 4. 22 a gallon. Its about 4. 10 everywhere else in the bay area. And that is down 0. 02 in the last week and more than 0. 05 a month ago. A fight started out with baseball bats and bottles ends with gunfire and a man is dead. Police in san jose are investigating the citys 19th homicide of the year. There is a crime scene cleaner here just inside of this apartment complex on 12th street making sure that they get rid of anything that looks disturbing. And this neighborhood that is close to the happy hallow amusement park. Someone called 911 shortly after 10 00 last night reporting there had been a large fight and people were shot. At least ten people were involved and using various weapons. They found a man suffering from one gunshot wound laying in the courtyard area of this apartment complex. He was pronounced dead. Police searched the area on foot and used a helicopter but did not find the shooter. Neighbors told us they hear abdomen five gunshots. Hearing it that close especially with my family and kids, i kind of got scared for them. I told them to stay inside for awhile, dont go out. Stay here. Im going to go check it out. Police took witnesses back to the Police Station to interview them and they are still doing that at this hour. Police are looking into the possibility that it could be related to Gang Activity but right now its still just too early to tell. Motive is unknown at this time. The victim has not been identified but weve been told it appears he is latino and can be anywhere in the age between 1525 years old. A San Francisco man facing several charges after a stand off with swat team it is lasted for hours. Its a story we reported seeing live all morning. 37yearold joseph solis barricaded himself inside his home after firing a gun at family members. When Police Arrived at that home, solis refused to come out. Police took extra care because his two children were inside with him. The children were found safe after solis surrendered around 7 00 a. M. He is facing charges including child endangerment, resisting arrest, and being a convicted felon that had a firearm. Meantime a san leandro man was arrested after bare kid barricading himself inside of a home for nearly two hours. They say a man who was wanted for felony crimes was in a home. An alert was issued warning neighbors to stay inside while police tried to get him to surrender. He did surrender around 6 00 last night a no one was hurt.
