Deputy Public Prosecutor Mohd Ashrof Adrin Kamarul said the Court of Appeal has fixed a 12-day hearing beginning April 5.
“The new hearing dates are on April 5 to 8,12 to 15 and 19 to 22, ” he said when contacted on Wednesday (Feb 3).
The hearing dates previously fixed in February and March have been vacated due to the extension of the movement control order and amendments to the standard operating procedure (SOP).
Najib’s appeal was supposed to be heard before the Court of Appeal on Feb 15.
DPP Ashrof said parties were to receive amended appeal records on Feb 8 and were instructed to file their written submissions by March 1 and reply to the submissions by March 19.

High Court Justice Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali fixed the date to give his decision on the case after hearing deputy public prosecutor Afzainizam Abdul Aziz and defence lawyer Datuk Salehuddin Saidin give their oral submissions in the case earlier this morning.
The defence had earlier closed its case on Sept 3 where a total of six defence witnesses, including Isa himself, testified in the trial, while 15 prosecution witnesses also gave evidence.
