LOCK HAVEN The first court appearance for Brian St. John III, charged with criminal homicide in the death of Jakob L. Haines, 21, last Friday night, has been continued.
The proceeding, originally scheduled for Central Court yesterday, is now scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 16, in Central Court. The defendant made a brief appearance via Zoom with his attorney, David Lindsay, before the announcement was made to continue the proceeding.
St. John, 19, of Lock Haven, remains in the Clinton County Correctional Facility without bail.
According to state police at Lamar, St. John was holding the Taurus Judge revolver and shot Haines in the chest during a gathering at the St. John residence at 330 Brewery Hollow Road, Woodward Township.
