WILLIAMSPORT The Williamsport area woman accused of using a hand tool to break windows in approximately 150 parked vehicles in three Lycoming County communities early on Dec. 24 will undergo a mental evaluation.
Lycoming County Judge Marc F. Lovecchio ordered a 60-day evaluation for Marie Victoria LeCrone, 50, at Torrance State Hospital that specializes in mental health cases.
State and Montoursville police have filed 93 criminal mischief and disorderly conduct charges against LeCrone for damage in Loyalsock Twp. and the borough.
Williamsport police will be filing charges, Chief Damon R. Hagan said Wednesday. To date, nearly 60 victims have come forward, he said.
