We have 49 injured, 23 homes that were destroyed, 59 other homes had minor damage, and 248 homes waiting to be assessed. So far we have concerned seven georgians have lost their life to this terrible storm in my thoughts and prayers go out. Given the widespread impact, i have declared a state of emergency this morning for all 159 counties to facilitate the deployment of critically needed resources across our state.
