Nonprofit Spotlight: Southeast Louisiana Legal Services works to bring justice to all Those in need of the services of a lawyer in Terrebonne, Lafourche and Assumption parishes can get the help they need at Southeast Louisiana Legal Services. The group s stated mission is to achieve justice and improve the lives of low-income people through civil legal aid, policy advocacy and community legal education.  The Courier and Daily Comet asked Laura Tuggle, executive director of the group, to tell us about her organization. These are the edited answers to our questions. What specific services do you provide?  Our Houma office serves Assumption, Lafourche and Terrebonne parishes providing free legal representation in civil legal matters to eligible low-income people living in those parishes. We have limited special grants and may be able to serve the legal needs of people aged 60 or older even if they are not low-income.
