The area of Scartho Cemetery set aside for The Armed Forces is regularly maintained. Over the last few weeks work has been carried out at the monument and at graves to make them clean. Scartho ward councillor and North East Lincolnshire Council representative on the Armed Forces Group, Councillor Ron Shepherd told Grimsby Live: It is a fantastic way for people to pay their respects to our war dead. It always looks outstanding. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission have done a superb job.
