A much-anticipated emergency meeting of Wexford County Council (WCC) has proved anti-climactic after all three motions presented to the council were struck out due to legal reasons. The meeting had been called to discuss the ongoing development of a proposed International Protection Accommodation Services (IPAS) centre in Rosslare Harbour, a development which is currently the subject of a planning appeal by WCC.
Over 250 children, community groups, volunteers, resident groups and individuals turned up for Wexford County Council’s annual Environment Awards at the Ferrycarrig Hotel.
The Wexford County Council Annual Environment Awards were held at the Ferrycarrig Hotel and proved to be a tremendous celebration of the environment and voluntary effort.
