The completion of works at Scoil Mhuire in Rosslare Strand has “transformed the way out students arrive at school” according to principal Bobby Kenny. Speaking at the official event to make the completion of the Safe Routes to School Scheme at Scoil Mhuire, Mr Kenny said the works had not only made the journey to class safer, but also more cheerful for pupils and their parents.
TWO THOUSAND five hundred trees have been planted at Clonroche Amenity Park as part of ‘The 100 Million Trees Project’ – which is a community driven initiative to plant 100 million native trees across Ireland.
Enniscorthy Technology Park, was planted with 2500 native trees as part of ‘The 100 Million Trees Project’. The project which was launched in late 2022 in Co. Wexford is a national community-driven initiative developed by brothers, Richard and David Mulcahy. The project’s aim is to plant 100 million native Irish trees throughout the next decade to reverse the environmental damage caused by the reduction of forests worldwide.
