Problem sustainably until the assad problem has been resolved. Because part of the reason foreign terrorist fighters are going to syria is because they want to fight assad and they see the attacks. You cant kind of separate these two things. It is true that we have shown as a military matter that were fighting isil from the air and were not fighting the assad regime. Were offering support to the opposition to fight the inside regime. But to think that you can just make the terrorists go away without dealing with the root cause of this crises and without depriving them of the recruiting tool that assad constitutes, i think its Wishful Thinking. Reporter we were here only a few minutes before people started telling us how dangerous of an intersection it is. This morning a 23yearold woman was killed while out for a jog. She was jogging. Thats part of her routine every morning. Reporter Vallejo Police say the jogger was the in the marked crosswalk this morning when she was hit about 6 a. M. She was jogging but may have also had a fight with her friend and was out to clear her head. The driver in his mid50s didnt realize hed hit a person until he stopped to check. We all seen the circles. Her shoes were knocked off her feet she was hit so hard, no skid marks. Reporter john morton said she was a quiet person who had two jobs. Eightyearold martin richard, 29yearold krystle campbell, 23yearold lu lingzhi, and 26yearold sean collier, the Police Officer shot as the tsarnaev brothers attempted their escape. 260 others were wounded. From the start, the tsarnaevs lawyers admitted he did it, but now in the sentencing phase they will try to convince the jury that he was under the spell of his older brother who sought revenge for the deaths of muslims in iraq and afghanistan. Don dahler is in boston for us tonight. Don. Reporter scott, when that last verdict was read out loud in Court Tsarnaev showed no emotion but someone sitting among the families of the victims let out a loud sigh, and another person was seen nodding emphatically yes.
