After meeting yesterday afternoon, the St. Joseph City Council has done away with the Krug Park project proposal and instead is proposing a half-cent sales tax for the St. Joseph park system.
City Council Member Madison Davis says the overall goal is to invest in all of the St. Joseph parks.
“The Krug Park project in particular kind of made everybody pause and think about the entire city,” Davis tells St. Joseph Post. “Not just myself, not just the council, everybody in the city.”
