Angela Mitford-Barberton suggests making the far north a conservation area. Highland Council’s decision to grant planning consent to the space port is to be the subject of a judicial review on April 1. Wildland, the company run by Danish business tycoon and Sutherland landowner Anders Holch Povlsen, successfully petitioned for the review.

Communities for Coul (C4C) wants to put forward a new application for the Sutherland site, a year after the Scottish Government rejected the original proposal. Its plan for an ‘environmentally sensitive’ course in Sutherland is supported by Brora Golf Club and Royal Dornoch Golf Club.
