The Town of Tillsonburg announced a reorganization of several key town departments almost eight months after firing several senior staff that used to head departments involved in Wednesday’s shuffle.
According to a statement from the town, it has merged its clerk’s and human resources departments into a newly formed corporate services department. That new department will also include information technology, customer service and communications.

Michelle Smibert, formerly the town’s clerk, will become director of the new department. The chief administrative officer’s department is not affected.
