so there s a lot of not getting ahead of the process, when it comes to the white house s public posture on this. here s what we know. which is that the president s lawyers found these documents on november 2nd, turned them over to the archives, there was a justice department review of this and that is something that is ongoing. and we heard from the president just yesterday, saying that he was surprised to learn that these documents were in this office, that he s, after he left the vice presidency, and that he hoped that this was something that would be resolved soon, and that the review that the justice department is conducting would end sooner rather than later. the question that is still outstanding, carol, you alluded to it, what did the president do and when did he know and how long has this been happening and another one where the press secretary worked to some might say sidestep, some might say pivot. pick your adjective there. and that is a question where the reporters fr
