Weird Corpus inaugural Papercut Zine Fest gives artists a platform

It s been over a year since the ArtWalk has been held in downtown Corpus Christi. Hybrid ArtWalk, a virtual spin on the event, has people either go downtown to shop or by visiting godowntowncc.com/virtualartwalk to buy artwork. The pandemic has the original event postponed until further notice, having artists and vendors turn to other means to showcase their work. Ema Rodriguez is hoping to feature those artists at the first Weird Corpus Papercut Zine Fest inside of Fresco downtown on April 2. Founder of Weird Corpus, a micro-zine highlighting local artists and businesses, Rodriguez hopes the event will help make art more accessible for people in their art buying experience.
