Golden Chick as returned that all-time summertime favorite to the menu corn dogs to dozens of its stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Northern Texas through July. More specifically, the chain is now offering Fletcher s Original Corny Dogs, the featured stars of the brand s Dog Days of Summer promotion and guerilla marketing campaign that revolves around that must-have corn dog topper mustard, a news release said.
Now, people walking around areas of North Texas where Golden Chick has stores will randomly encounter big splotches of mustard splotches. The mustard marks also feature QR codes, which guests can access via their phones for a full list of Golden Chick stores where they can enjoy a corny dog.

Fletcher s Corny Dogs return to Golden Chick for summer 2021

DALLAS - Fletcher’s Corny Dogs are coming back to Golden Chick.
The partnership, which began last fall in the middle of the pandemic, will continue for this summer. Both companies made the tasty announcement on Wednesday. When we partnered with Fletcher’s last year after the State Fair of Texas was canceled, we had no idea how successful the collaboration would end up being, said Jim Stevens, Golden Chick president. To say it surpassed our expectations is an understatement.
The corny dogs will be available on Saturdays and Sundays only starting Memorial Day weekend through August 1 at its 87 locations across the region.

1. State Fair of Texas, Dallas
The State Fair of Texas is home to the original corn dog, the beloved meat on a stick that Americans can t get enough of. Fletcher s Corny Dogs debuted the very first corn dog in 1938. Back then, they were giving away their corny dogs for free, just to get people to try the unheard of food. Now, Fletcher s is selling between 500,000 and 600,000 dogs a year.

Dallas Arboretum presents Artscape, a juried fine art and fine craft show and sale, April 24-25. More than 85 outstanding artists from around the country exhibit their art in the garden.
