Looking for a sweet, fruit-filled pie for dessert? Or a savory pot pie for dinner?
Several Utah entrepreneurs have launched pie-baking businesses in recent months that make getting one of these flaky, baked treats in whole and individual sizes as easy as, well, pie.
This list comes just in time for “Pi Day.”
To understand the March 14 celebration, you’ll need to think back to high school geometry when you used the Greek letter pie (π) or its decimal equivalent 3.14 to figure the area and circumference of a circle.

It’s a concocted event, for sure, but if you don’t observe it, you’ll have to wait until Jan. 23 for what the American Pie Council says is the real National Pie Day.
