E3 LEARNING: OKCPS to offer online learning option post-pandemic

COVID-19 has no doubt changed the way students learn. Today, Oklahoma City Public Schools announced their e3 Online Learning program – even as a post-pandemic option. The district rolled out the program at Coolidge Elementary School today and explained why parents should consider it. The district said roughly 4,000 students are enrolled in their e3 program right now and they hope that those numbers will go up for the next school year.“e3 Online Learning provides a unique opportunity for our families to have their children learn 100% from home while remaining an integral and important part of their neighborhood school,” said Kenny Ward, OKCPS director of online learning.Ward said despite pandemic challenges, OKCPS has seen great success with its students – especially how they’re progressing academically. “When we have done benchmarks district-wide, some of our e3 teachers like Ms. Chandler, out of the whole district, it was our e3 kids that were scoring the highest,�
