he only went about 95% instead of 100%. will rothman, mark thompson back. noah, what do you make of the president s argument. michael cohen was honest but one particular thing but everything else, liar, liar. from the president s perspective, everything michael cohen said did the dossier was great. pretty much shot down every angle that involved michael cohen in the dust. good for him. but at the same time he sort of put the trump organization on the dock for a lot of actions that could be considered illegal, and notably among them tax fraud, and implicated the chief attorney of the trump organization and, and if there s corroboration there, the president and his family could be in serious legal jeopardy if his family doesn t win re-election, and there could be legal jeopardy today. that s hard to see whether that moves forward because you need to have some sort of corroboration and it s tough to
questions raised by democrats. so this opens the door for more and more investigation on the part of house democrats. we don t know what mueller is already looking into, and frankly, i don t think this should be treated matter of factually. this is major. the president is a criminal. that s all there is to it. if he s writing checks from behind that oval office desk outside of the auspices he s not a convicted criminal. he s not. he s not convicted but he s still a criminal. you have to be convicted to be considered a criminal? i think i think it s tough to make the argument the president of the united states is a criminal. we know the president is a liar. but to say that the president is a criminal well, if you are paying off someone to benefit your campaign outside of federal election commission filings, that s not an act of criminality? what do you think? it would be if it s proven in
