A community group against a proposed warehouse development near the Grand River in Cambridge, Ont., is urging city council to halt the project after learning members of Six Nations of the Grand River may not have been properly consulted, according to documents obtained by CBC News.
Cambridge MPP Belinda Karahalios, Green Party of Ontario Leader Mike Schreiner and four NDP MPPs have called for public consultations into a ministerial zoning order for a large warehouse to be built in Cambridge. Officials with Six Nations of the Grand River say they weren't consulted.

Harris says she also wants to ask the City of Barrie to bring in a bylaw mandating hurricane straps for roofs of new local properties.
