Police seized 100 weapons after massive street battle, court hears

Armed police seized 100 weapons from one house after they were called to a large scale street battle between rival gangs. Officers were called to the residential street in Jarrow, South Tyneside, after groups of men clashed with baseball bats, knives and an imitation firearm while frightened members of the public called 999. Fears Tier 4 move will not stop Covid case rise in Swindon

THE new Tier 4 restrictions are not enough to help curb the rise in Covid cases in Swindon, Adver readers say.
