Ten Gators return to Gainesville with medals from the SEC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, including two SEC titles.
After three days of competition, the Florida men’s team finished fourth in the 2021 SEC Outdoor Championships with 74 points, while the women s team came in sixth with 62 points. Arkansas won the SEC team titles for both the men and women with 129 and 127 points, respectively.

Florida’s track team closed out its regular season this week in two different cities.
The distance runners traveled to Jacksonville, Florida, Thursday for the UNF Invitational, while the sprinters and field athletes ventured westward to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to compete Saturday at the LSU Invitational.
Florida plays host to Tom Jones Memorial and senior day
In the second consecutive meet in Gainesville, three seniors were honored Friday.

Florida hosted its second meet in as many weeks, with the Tom Jones Memorial beginning on Friday night.
All of the eyes at Percy Beard Track locked onto the pregame proceedings, which honored Florida’s three seniors in theirfinal home meet.
Abby Harelson was joined by national champions Raymond Ekevwo and Thomas Mardal at the finish where coach Mike Holloway presented the trio with framed track pennies and a bouquet of flowers.
