It was under the convergence collaborative, which i did not know much about. The goal was to discuss policies to support working families. I quickly learned this approach was really serious about bringing together people from across the ideological spectrum and about facilitating productive conversation. So several dozen of us spent quite a bit of time for the past over the past year producing a report. Which you will hear a little bit about today, especially in the first panel. Then because the process was so unusual, i wanted to give people the opportunity to hear more about work across the spectrum more generally. So our second panel will be focusing on productive ways to do that.
