Protest at MC office: MP Bittu, senior congress leaders booked under non bailable charges. After an intensified protest by the congress leaders and workers at Zone-A office of Municipal Corporation, where they put up a lock to agitate, the Ludhiana police booked Congress Member Parliament (MP) Ravneet Singh Bittu, former cabinet minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu, former senior deputy mayor Sham Sunder Malhotra, district congress president and former MLA Sanjay Talwar and 60 others under non- bailable sections.
