Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) Commissioner Greco Belgica, his brother Anti-Red Tape Authority Director General Jeremiah Belgica, and four others are facing a complaint for graft before the Office of the Ombudsman due to the alleged irregular application of a dredging permit.
Citizens Crime Watch Association Inc. (CCWAI) President Diego Magpantay filed the complaint against them and ARTA Deputy Director General Ernesto Perez, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Bureau of Equipment Director Toribio Noel Ilao, and private individuals Manolo and Milinia Nuezca, owners of Verdant Pastures Mining International Inc.
He wants them held liable for violating Section 3(e) and (j) of Republic Act 3019 or the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act, RA 6713 or the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees, Grave Misconduct, Serious Dishonesty, and Conduct Prejudicial to the Interest of Public Services.

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, January 12) The National Bureau of Investigation has filed a new complaint against former Philippine Health Insurance Corp. chief Ricardo Morales and other PhilHealth officials before the Office of the Ombudsman over irregularities in the release of the state insurer s funds.
The NBI on Monday recommended the charges for alleged violation of the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act, Misappropriation of Funds of the Corporation, and administrative cases of Grave Misconduct, Gross Negligence and Conduct Prejudicial to Public Interest. Aside from Morales, respondents to the case were executive vice presidents Arnel de Jesus and Renato Limsiaco, senior vice president Israel Pargas, and 11 other officials from Metro Manila and other regions.

I ordered the preventive suspension of Atty. Steve Dicdican, general manager of the Mactan Cebu International Airport Authority for Grave Misconduct, Gross Neglect of Duty and Conduct Prejudicial to the Best Interest of the Service, he said in a message to CNN Philippines.
He said Dicdican consented to allowing foreign officers of GMR Megawide Cebu Airport Corp. (GMCAC) to manage the airport operation. GMCAC is a consortium of Filipino company Megawide Construction Corporation and the foreign GMR Infrastructure Limited.
