Donna Lee Adams, 89 of New Concord
Donna Lee Adams, 89 of New Concord, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2021 at the Beckett House in New Concord where she had resided for four years.
Donna was born in El Dorado, KS on June 5, 1931, the daughter of the late Stanley and Pauline (Miller) Blehm. She moved with her family from her beloved Kansas to New Concord in 1969.
Donna never knew a stranger and was known for her infectious laugh. She loved to travel, watch sporting events, shopping excursions, getting her hair and nails done, visiting with friends, and playing games with her grandchildren, whom she adored. She was a proud Ellinwood Eagle and always spoke fondly of her days growing up in Kansas with her dear siblings. A member of College Drive Presbyterian Church, Donna loved the Lord and taught Sunday school for many years. She was also a member of Guernsey County Eastern Star. J. Harold Hatfield, 86 of Zanesville
James Harold Hatfield, 86 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2020 while under the care of Genesis Hospice – Morrison House.
Harold was born in Duncan Falls on January 24, 1934. He is the son of the late Harley “Snow” and Dorothy (McCreary) Hatfield.
Harold graduated from Philo High School in the class of 1952. He was a retired Iron worker with Local #172. He proudly served as a paratrooper in the 325 AIR, 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Army from 1954 to 1956. A well-known handyman, he would help anyone who called seeking assistance with a project or needed something fixed. He was also passionate about the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, trapper, and hunter, having also taught hunter safety courses at one point.
Elmer “Lewis” Hollar, 81 of Cambridge
Elmer “Lewis” Hollar, 81 of Cambridge, passed away in his home on Brown Cottage at the Cambridge Developmental Center on Thursday, December 17, 2020 surround by his CaDC family. He was born in Hebron, Ohio to Glen and Bertha Hollar on June 10, 1938.
Elmer lived at home until the age of 9 where he was at prior placements before finding his home at the Cambridge Developmental Center in 1990. Elmer immediately became part of our extended family. Elmer enjoyed Country Music, riding in vehicles, watching tv, stuffed animals, swimming, and preferred staff. He enjoyed spending time with his direct care staff Anita. Elmer was well-loved and considered Brown Cottage to be his home. He will be missed by all who knew him, and his memory will be cherished.
