The towns that planned to take part in the regional collaboration were Acton, Bedford, Carlisle, Concord, Lincoln, Maynard, Sudbury, Wayland, and Westford.
The proposed location was the KMart/Stop & Shop site at 252 Main St.

News of the clinic came on the heels of Gov. Charlie Baker’s announcement to ease COVID restrictions, mirroring guidance from the CDC. As of May 29, Massachusetts intends to lift its COVID-19 restrictions, though masks will still be required in certain settings such as public transportation, in schools, and at health care facilities. All emergency orders will be rescinded June 15.

Services available
■United Church of Penacook continues to offer in-person services at 10 a.m. every Sunday. You can also listen to a recording or a YouTube video of the full service by visiting ucpnh.org.
■The food pantry at the United Church of Penacook is open every Tuesday from 9:30-11:30 a.m. for Penacook residents. Pantry visitors are allowed two bags of groceries and one bag of personal care items every two weeks.

■The Concord Parks and Recreation Senior Program will have Dorean Kimball coming to the City Wide Community Center on May 26 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to present information about the accordion and her therapeutic volunteer work at Concord Hospital and local nursing homes. So many books, so little time. Thank goodness the Concord Public Library has reopened! To be able to browse once again and serendipitously find another literary wonder. And the library staff could not be more wonderfully helpful.
