Of the local 1021 bart chapter says his union and local 1555 agreed to drop the family medical leave provision, despite Union Members voting last month to approve a contract with that clause. It included up to six weeks of paid leave for workers to care for sick loved ones. Members will have to use accumulated time off. People can use their vacation or sick leave.
