RTM and infusion specialist Composite Integration (Cornwall, U.K.) has announced that it has appointed Pultex GmbH (Simmerath, Germany) as its distributor in Germany. Despite the pandemic, the company says, the manufacturing sector has continued to operate safely throughout most of 2020 and 2021 Composite Integration’s own positive growth throughout this period has resulted in its decision.
Pultex will be providing advice and support for infusion processes within Composite Integrations’ composites manufacturing services. The company has more than 30 years of experience in the composites industry supplying materials and processing equipment, and have recently moved into a new purpose-designed facility that includes a spray booth, maintenance workshop and demonstration area.

Composite Integration (Saltash, U.K.) has acquired Silicone Composites (Saltash) to provide what is says will be a single point of excellence for resin transfer molding (RTM), infusion and silicone solutions.
Silicone Composites was initially established in 2013 with the aim of providing a more efficient, less labor-intense closed molding process while also looking to reduce the amount of consumable waste. In 2016, after the company had experienced strong growth, Silicone Composites became a sister company of Composite Integration, with a full acquisition and merger completed in December 2020.
Further, over the past four years, both businesses have continuously evolved to offer technologies underpinned by the knowledge gained from ongoing research and technology on a variety of collaborative and commercial programs.
