I think scott can probably talk more about specific numbers but its shocking the numbers. What are the numbers . City wide, this is a city that sees last year, i think 1200 shootings. Thats up by about 18 over the year before. When you ask the question is this necessary . I think it is. Even when you have a situation as we had in boston with the Boston Marathon bombing, what you saw in that situation were lay people who were coming out and rendering care.
