Airport officials tell us it happened aboard this Copa Airlines flight. It arrived just before 3 00 and was on the ground waiting for a gate assignment. Officials say thats when the 17yearold opened the emergency exit and jumped from the plane. Were told an airline construction crew apprehended that teenager until Police Arrived and tack him into custody. So far there is no word on the teenagers motive or any other charges he may face. Now to that search in yuba county for a gunman who wounded two deputies. Authorities say the suspect may have ties to a selfproclaimed church. New information from the newsroom. Reporter Officials Say those two deputies are in stable condition right now. Theres a largescale manhunt for the person suspected of shooting them. The Yuba County Sheriffs Department says the shooting happened just before 9 00 a. M. The two deputies responded to a call of a disturbance in a Rural Community north of sacramento. Security guard is out of a job all because of a fight over a stolen backpack. It was all captured on cell phone video. This is cell phone video of a fight that has cost a Security Guard her job. It broke out on the third deck during last nights game between the as and the giants, the opener of the bay bridge series. You can see a female Security Guard wearing a black jacket who appears to be hitting a female fan and grabbing her hair. There also appears to be a second Security Guard involved in the fight at one point. Other guards step in. Witnesses told ktvu that the fans were rowdy and were heckling the Security Guard. At one point one of the guards came back and flipped off the crowd. A fan threw a beer at the guard. In another video you can see Police Officers responding. The Department Says the fight was over a backpack stolen from another Security Guard. It was later recovered with some items still missing. This. Is audio between the air Traffic Controller and the two pilots pilots reporter a few minutes after landing, a 17yearold boy sitting in the exit row unexpectedly opened the exit door. He slid down the wing of the aircraft on to the taxi way. One passenger showed us photos of the exit door after it was opened. We saw like someone running outside. Reporter passengers say there was no announcement. They were delayed about 30 minutes. Several Law Enforcement officers got on the plane. They just told us to remain calm and be seated. Reporter the airport spokesman said the teen is a u. S. Citizen and was traveling alone. Police took him into custody. Thankfully nothing happened. [ inaudible ] reporter the sfo spokesman said the teen was not injured. The customs and Border Protection is the agency handling the case. The supervisor says he doesnt know if the teen will be charged but if he is charged, it could mean that it could be tampering with an aircraft or interfering with a flight. Y
