Now. Mount rose season pass holders got an email yesterday explaining that owners are looking to sell the resort. The statement explains that at 95yearsyoung, owner fritz buser is ready to hang up his skis and retire. They say recent weather has made this the right time to sell. Buser has owned the resort since 1971. It is a mix of private property and land leased from the u. S. Forest service for a total of 12hundred skiable acres.
