Police are looking into the cause of a one-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon that killed one person and sent two others to the hospital.
State troopers responded around 4:45 p.m. Saturday to a rollover crash on state Route 17 near Exit 84 in the Broome County Town of Sanford, according to New York State Police at Deposit.
Troopers who arrived at the scene found the vehicle, a Honda Civic, had struck the wire guide rail, crossed the road, and struck a guide rail on the opposite side of the roadway before going off the highway and rolling over multiple times, state police said.
