Become deadly. 10 confirmed deaths in seven bay area counties. Four of those were reported today. Here are the latest totals. Two deaths in alameda county, two in marin, and two in santa clara county, one death in San Fransisco and one each in contracosta and sonoma counties and one flu related fatality in san mateo county. As the death count rises we are learning new information about the victims. San mateo county says the woman who had the h1n1 strain of the flu, also known as the swine with flu, died. They say she had a im sorry, she did have an Underlying Health condition. In that county there are at least six people in the hospital with a strain of the flu. They say that there has been a 200 increase compared to last year of the number of people testing positive for the flu.
