Now at 11 on kpix 5 and streaming on cbsn bay area, 28 ucsf healthcare workers are under covid quarantine tonight. This after five people at the hospital tested positive for the coronavirus. Two patients and three workers. Officials say they were infected with the virus at the parnassus campus. Ucsf released the statement we have not yet determined the original source or exact sequence of these infections, however, we have isolated these patients and employees and are working to identify, test and quarantine other individuals who may have been exposed to them. The state is reporting a slight increase in covid19 cases and the Positivity Rate has just been under 3 in the last two weeks but

New Price Center gallery show features art by women

For the third consecutive year, art by women is the focus of a new gallery show held in conjunction with International Women’s Day, which takes place on March 8. “From Challenge Comes Change” features 81 individual works by more than 50 area women displayed throughout the first-floor galleries of the Price Center now through March 27. The show is free and open to the public daily. A virtual celebration planned for March 8 is also in production.
