Inter-district bus, train and launch services will resume across the country on the condition that they operate at half their capacity for a week.
The cabinet division in a circular yesterday lifted the coronavirus restrictions on almost everything, except the educational institutions.
A circular was issued in this regard.
Nur Mohammad Mazumder, chairman of Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA), confirmed to The Daily Star that movement of long-distance buses will resume from tomorrow.

Also, in total 56 intercity trains (up and down) and 18 local trains will resume operation from tomorrow, Railways Minister Nurul Islam Sujan said during a deal signing ceremony today.

Fifty percent train tickets will be available online. No ticket would be available at station counters to avoid crowds during the present Covid-19 situation.
With no directive about the two-day window between the lockdowns , many people said they were confused as to what would happen on April 12 and 13.
Even transport regulators and companies do not know whether buses, trains, launches, and domestic flights will operate during the two days.
Many social media users have asked if anyone knew about the government decision so that they can make plans before a stricter lockdown begins on April 14.
However, sources said a meeting of secretaries of the ministries concerned would be held today over the situation with the cabinet secretary in the chair where decisions regarding the two days and the next lockdown would be made.
