I echo the Great Community leader as well as i who handled the corridor in glen park. Im happy that the rest of the route is approved but the 35 is not acceptable. It is one of the most busiest tiny streets and one of the safe havens for the community itself. We had a great big plan that was done and approved and took about 11 years to get that approved. Actually Glen Park Community Plan has a bus loop and it is in front of the battery bart station and nazi plan and that should be used. The statement of the cross corners of the community to reach bart is on wilder street. We have seen people get hit and thrown up in the air. It does not comply with your vision zero absolutely not. There is so many pedestrians that cross. This is a tiny street there. Another thing is that the bus that stops there already at diamond and wilder actually comes into and blocks

For example it serves the poor population encouraging investment in low income areas. An example in my state we have 6. 3 of the poverty resides in florida in the country and yet our new markets tax credit share is only 2 . Those other states are similar that i mentioned. And so what it does this tax credit is incentivize investment of commercial projects to create jobs in low income areas. And since the program was established back in 2000, 36 billion has been invested in eligible communities and it needs that little tweak to get to the poverty so i

Combon in the tep project. Im strongly opposed obviously because i live on wilder street on the bus going down wilder and im against the idea of rerouting the 35 eureka without further discussion. I think any decision should be postponed with any meeting and Public Outreach scheduled well in advance. People impacted should be notified for rider ship along with forecast and targets should be reviewed. I noticed in the slide earlier one of the key points was data analysis. I dont believe thats part of the current planning process. Its not clear that rider ship forecast or targets were any type of planning has been performed in a scientific manner. Once everyone has examined the problem well collectively find it doesnt do anything but perhaps to change to improve the reliability of 52 and Diamond Heights where they both share a common stop and today you can achieve the goal with muni bart with a 2minute transfer. While that does provide some basic access for folks what we heard is they are really trying to make connections to 24th street as the commercial street as well as to j and bart. So what we recommended is that the 58 when it is adopted that it be extended to cover the stops up on grand view which are on a very steep hill top and that the 49 48 would not move forward until the proposal is in played. The reason we recommend the 48 and not the 58 is the loop for the route and the others taking advantage of the service. Right now its in the middle of its route and everybody in the bus is traveling through that 5 or 6minute deviation as they try to reach other destinations. There were several routes that were modified prior to march 14th that the policy and Governance Committee supported and i do have those maps if any of those questions come up as a response to public feedback.
