Kandiyohi County Commissioner Nissen faced serious battle with COVID-19, now on the road to recovery
Kandiyohi County Commissioner Rollie Nissen came down with a very serious case of COVID-19 in late November and is just now starting to feel more like himself. He ended up spending more than two weeks in the hospital and said it could have been a fatal case. He is the second county commissioner to have taken ill with COVID-19. Kandiyohi County Board starts 2021 with new members
Newly elected Duane Anderson and Steve Gardner, along with a re-elected Roger Imdieke, took the oath of office for the Kandiyohi County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday. WILLMAR The inaugural 2021 meeting of the Kandiyohi County Board of Commissioners started with an invocation from Pastor Jon Dahl of Bethel Lutheran Church of Willmar and continued with the swearing in of three county commissioners Roger Imdieke, Steve Gardner and Duane Anderson.

Case reports dating back to the mid-1970s were read by the Willmar Police Department Cold Case Review Team to help determine the primary suspect in the 1974 killing of Mabel Mae Agnes Boyer Herman this past July.
