Process and from our account its been a special program in reaching San Franciscos diverse family. In addition to those materials, weve also developed curriculum for the sf puc specifically designed for grades 46. Teachers are able to use the curriculum around Water Resources and Water Conservation and the sf puc is distributing these materials to all teachers who are interested in San Francisco and also make it available on their website. Our water class presentations not only are teefrps teachers doing this but our office as well. We have given eight presentations to assemblies targeting about 8,000 students in San Francisco and developing a curriculum to take it to further grades to allow students to be fully engaged in the process. Lastly one of the other aspects we are doing is front line educators and directly turn key materials to use in their classrooms as part of their overall teaching. If there is not a warm hand off, the connection, the recidivism rate the parole was receiving was 78 percent. We have an 85 percent successful completion rate. We started charting those that were object skonding and not showing up. The population had such greater likelihood of not only showing up but being successful in completing their post releasing time if in fact we were able to engage with them ahead of time. We were the first county officers to begin the work but we couldnt send people all over the state. Thats where i got the idea to lets bring them back early and work with senator hancock to work with that to give the county the pilot to do this. I support everything the sheriff said to this being a really Innovative Program and the opportunity to work with the population and got the governors attention that hes written this into pod of over crowding and one of the strategies that hes basically implementing is to take it instead of the 60 days is to take it to 365 days. Item number 1 is an ordinance amending the campaign and government conduct code to expand the definition of a lobbyist; expand the definition of an officer of the city and county; expand the list of reportable lobbying contacts; hold employers and clients of lobbyists jointly and severally liable for violations of this ordinance committed by the lobbyist on behalf of that employer or client; enhance lobbyist training, auditing, and recordkeeping requirements; require public reports about city officials who fail to file statements of economic interest; require a public guide to local Campaign Finance laws; require permit consultants to register with the Ethics Commission and file regular disclosure reports; and require Major Developers to disclose donations to nonprofits active in the city and county of San Francisco. ~ lobbying regulations.
