WAREHAM - Plans to develop a function center-restaurant, restaurant and ice cream shop on the Wareham River at 59 Main St. got a boost with the Conservation Commission’s unanimous approval of its first phase – a commercial marina.
The Conservation Commission was asked to consider the project, proposed by Danny Warren, from the water or marina side.
The commercial marina plan approved features floating docks along the existing bulkhead with 15 finger piers going out from those floats, including one extending 48 feet into the river and one extending 56 feet. Fourteen slips will be created. It will include 860 linear feet of dock.
