top intelligence officials are issuing their most urgent warning yet about russia. frankly, the united states is under attack. from u.s. businesses to federal, state and local governments, united states is under the threat of cyber threats every day. that is dan coates who says if they don t do something to stop russia interference, the upcoming elections will be compromised. will be. as christopher wray and other trump-appointed officials testify that they unanimously agree with the cyber security threats, the president continues to call the russia investigation a witch hunt. here is maine senator angus king who says enough is enough. i wish you all could persuade the president as a matter of national security to separate these two issues, the collusion issue is over here, unresolved.
potential target for russian influence operations. will russian president vladimir putin s government is disrupting the midterms, wray said they are already working with: security. dhs recently scheduled meetings there are ways that people are little bit creative and forward-leaning to educate the state election. the american people are smart people. they realize that there are people attempting to manipulate them, both domestically and foreign. one senator called for greater involvement from the top. i just wish you all could persuade the president, as a matter of national security, to separate these two issues. the collusion issue is over here unresolved. we cannot confront this threat, which is a serious one, with a whole government response when the leader of the government continues to deny that it exists. during the 3.5 hour session, other headlines unfolded on
kellyanne conway, they have all been saying it. why are we to believe them on the collusion issue, on laundry, on all of these other things. that is so corrosive. i know this may be rearweirdt if you could channel yourself back, what would that john dean advise the president to do. what would you say? well, initially when i started dealing with them in those recorded tape show, i was trying to figure out what he is who he is, what he knew. for the first eight months of watergate, i had no dealings with him at all. today i know he knew much more than i did. and i better convince him that

is no collusion. when they have no collusion and nobody s found any collusion, at any level. but did we get he said no collusion eight times in two minutes in response to that one question. but did we get a flat answer from the president about whether if called, he would testify? first thing on the collusion point. collusion s not a legal term. so no one s going to be prosecuted for collusion. if anything, it would be conspiracy to conspire with russians in their election meddling. and the fact is, that has not been eliminated by the special counsel. the special counsel is still looking at instances that could lead them down that path, the primary one being that famous trou trump tower meeting in 2016, when donald trump jr. met with russians promising dirt on hillary clinton. so to be clear on that point, there is no conclusion on the collusion issue. and the other point is that there are other potential crimes that could arise out of this investigation. one being obstruction of
