Elizabethtown College Extends Deposit Deadline for In-Person Fall 2021 Semester

Elizabethtown College announced it will extend the deposit deadline to June 1 for new students enrolling for the in-person fall 2021 semester. The fall 2021 semester begins on Monday, August 23. “While we encourage students to make their official declaration as soon as they are ready to make the commitment to Etown, we also want to offer families flexibility during these challenging times,” Elizabethtown College President Cecilia M. McCormick, J.D. said. “Our admissions team creates a seamless enrollment process helping families through every step of the way, so we can ensure our new students fully understand the exceptional education and long-term worth they will gain as a Blue Jay.”

Elizabethtown College Awarded $125,000 Grant Supporting Social Justice and Diversity Initiatives

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – Elizabethtown College was recently awarded a $125,000 grant to promote justice, diversity, and career building on campus. Funded by the Lancaster County Community Foundation’s BB&T now Truist Economic Growth Fund, the grant will support Pathways to Progress: Promoting Justice, Diversity, and Career Building. This project will strengthen programs to support underrepresented and first-generation students on Etown’s campus by: intentionally growing ties to the College’s diverse alumni community; creating academic opportunities for students to work with community partners on issues surrounding social, racial and criminal justice; and strengthening career-based learning opportunities for underrepresented minorities and first-generation students.
