Nationwide Building Society is taking applications for its first apprenticeships which will be delivered in partnership with Swindon’s new Institute of Technology. The society is recruiting apprentice roles in tech-related areas including cybersecurity, software development and DevOps in order to offer more opportunities for people looking to start new careers in technology. The IoT will be based on the New College North Star campus and has been developed in partnership with Swindon employers to deliver timely, relevant, and industry-based STEM learning to its students. It will offer a mixture of remote and face-to-face learning and aims to bring new career opportunities to the region, with the aim of educating more than 1,000 people within five years of opening.
