Lees announcement was sent without the appropriate approval. Because of this insubordination and consequences it has brought upon the system, president lee has been placed on administrative leave. We were just kind of blindsided by it. Sonoma state professor Alexis Boutin says the faculty was left in the dark about lees negotiations with protesters.
