Today Contra Costa County amended its health order now requiring face coverings in social situations at all times. The county is also clamping down on some indoor activities. They are concerned about the spread of the virus. Greg . Reporter yeah, the county Health Department made the unexpected announcement just this afternoon. Now the county had been easing restrictions, even though covid cases were going on. But the county just hit a critical number prompting more stringent guidelines. Drinking and dining without a face coverings, even outdoors will no longer be allowed in Contra Costa County. Health officials report in a leslie, positive covid test have reached 80 , the number triggered officials to reconsider further openings and to begin rolling back. That is an alarming rate.
