(Image: Foghorn Brewing Company, submitted) The popular International Women’s Day brew Sparkölsch returns in 2021 after being launched last year as a collaboration by the women of Foghorn Brewing Company, Big Tide Brewing, Loyalist City Brewing, and Red Rover Craft Cider. In the spirit of International Women’s Brew Day 2021 theme, #UniteCompassion, proceeds from the sale of each pint, growler fill, and bottle will go to programs supporting women in Saint John’s local communities. “The nature of the collaboration itself kind of changed this year, more so than the project itself,” says Sarah Tippett, Marketing and Operations Manager for Foghorn Brewing Company.  “Last year we were able to host a brew day with about 30 women in attendance and that just didn’t seem like the responsible choice this year, so we made the brew day much smaller.”
