Quinte Health Care is resuming endoscopy services in Belleville.
Services had, since April 19, been on hold during the third wave of the pandemic, the result of a provincial directive.

All endoscopy services in Belleville were to resume June 21 and at Prince Edward County Memorial on Aug. 16, QHC’s board learned in a meeting Tuesday.
Trenton Memorial and Belleville General Hospitals had, by June 9, resumed full surgery schedules.
“We’re about 398 cases behind but we have a plan to catch up,” vice-president Jeff Hohenkerk told the board.
