Los Vascos of Chile
A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to attend a Domaines Barons de Rothschild virtual wine tasting. I have to say that I really enjoy these virtual tastings; I can travel the wine world, try exotic wines, and meet prominent personalities, without leaving my living room.
Anyway, this tasting was with Rothschild’s Los Vascos winery in Chile. Los Vascos is located in the prime Colchagua Valley Wine Region. This dry location features a strong day/night temperature shift that produces fresh, aromatic wines. I have been somewhat negligent about reporting on Chilean wines in the past, but I can ignore them no longer; they are just so good.
