(Insert eye roll.) These elected officials represent a school district that is majority Latino with a high percentage of families who speak Spanish at home.

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (WBTV) - A man accused of killing his grandfather and injuring his grandmother in Randolph County was arrested in Cornelius after an hours-long search.
Brian Cody King was taken into custody just after 2 a.m. Sunday morning.
King was wanted in the death of 74-year-old Harold Stephen King, who was identified by the Randolph County Sheriffâs Office as Kingâs grandfather.

ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. (WBTV) - A man accused of kidnapping a woman led officers on a multi-county pursuit that ended with him crashing along I-85 in Rowan County, according to North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
Troopers said he fired shots at officers along the way.
The pursuit started in Randolph County and ended near the Webb Road exit after the driver attempted to avoid spike strips on the interstate and veered off the highway.
