Flames spread quickly near homes and vineyards. That fire first reported at dry creek road and wall road near yountville. Reporter flames filled the hills of napa valley just west of yountville. The creek fire started just after 4 00 this afternoon and quickly spread over dozens of acres. Fire crews hit it hard with Successive Air drops from six tankers, four helicopters and an army of about 200 men and women on the ground. Fire officials called for evacuations near campbell flats and Campbell Creek as the flames headed toward homes in the area. It did threaten one structure on clear creek road which firefighters were able to save. Reporter authorities set up an Emergency Shelter in napa at Crosswalk Community church.
